Delicious!

Yesterday's meal with Mallory was extraordinary to say the least. We felt so healthy and our nourishment tickled our taste buds, and made a BIG splash in our tummies. She's studying to become a Nurse at UofK and right now in the middle of getting her CNA. She thought the fresh herbs, fruits, vegetables and omega 3's we gleaned from the meal would enhance our pursuit of a more healthier lifestyle. I'm not sure I want to give up those McDonald's fries though and its' famous Big Mac! I'm a child of the 60's and 70's and the golden arches are one of my favorites.

Recommendation...Go and see the movie, My Sister's Keeper. It is very real and our emotions like our taste buds for dinner last night were fully embraced. WOW! Take a box of Kleenex though. I was so involved in the movie because I could connect so clearly with it. My brother died last year of a very rare disease that was neurologically debilitating. My other brothers and sister and I took care of him throughout his struggle. His struggle was ours. We love and respect him so much because of it. I especially loved the part in the movie where they take their sister to the beach and I vowed to Mallory last night, that on David's birthday one year I would like to make a trip to Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina in his memory. He absolutely loved it there. As children we frequented it with half of LaGrange every summer growing up. There lies some of my favorite childhood memories. David's passing into heaven to be with his and my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ was our first wedding of the spring. God gave me such a gift as to be able to love David and my family through his journey of having AMN.

Now, I'm off to see my sister and her family at the pool and bask in the sun again. Lee and our oldest son, Lee are back on the course and are having a ball with that little white ball. Meghan my other daughter is working as a waitress at a yummy restaurant called the Atomic Cafe in Lexington, Kentucky which anyone who has a hankering for Caribbean cuisine needs to frequent it. Mallory is teaching little ones how to swim this morning. She did it in her sleep all night because I listened to her talking in between snores...HA! Ryan our BB&T banker and newlywed will be celebrating his 1st anniversary. YEAH Ashley and Ryano. God has given us so many blessings and weddings are prolific right now in our stage of life. My daughter in love, Erin, will be running a triathlon outside of Atlanta and I wish her the best. She's been in training for awhile now. Training...we're all in training as we are "Works in Progress".
Until tomorrow....keep up the progress and enjoy the process.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
